Southern Rider Training is a Professional Motorcycle Training Organistation based at

Flamingo Park, A20 Sidcup By Pass, Chislehurst, Kent, BR7 6HL

We offer courses from Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), Restricted Licences,

Direct Access and Refresher training for those returning to motorcycling after some

years.

We cover the following areas:-

Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Chislehurst, Mottingham, Welling, Erith, Belvedere, Blackheath, Greenwich, Thamesmead, Abbey Wood, Catford, Lewisham, Croydon, Biggin Hill, Westerham, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Swanley, Crayford, Dartford, and Maidstone.

All our courses are fully flexible to suit your needs.

WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW TEST WE HAVE ON SITE TRAINING FACILITIES FOR THE MODULE 1 ELEMENT OF THE TEST.

NEW TEST FORMAT

The new motorcycle test will consist of 2 Modules

Module 1 will include the following:-

At least 2 manoeuevres to be carried out a slow speed and includes a slalom

At least 2 manoeuvres to be carried out a higher speed, of which one manoeuvre should be in second or third gear at a speed of at least 30km/h (18.75mph)

one manoeuvre avoiding an obstacle at a minimum speed of 50km/h (31.25mph)

and at least two braking exercises, including an emergency stop at a minimum speed of 50km/h (31.25mph).

If you fail Module 1 you will need to wait 3 working days before taking the test again.

You cannot take Module 2 until you have successfully completed Module 1.

If you fail Module 2 you will need to wait 10 working days before taking the test again.
