Direct Access

 

Riders aged 21 or over may opt to take a test on a large motorcycle.  On passing the test they are immediately qualified to ride any motorcycle without restrictions.  You must complete CBT, and pass a Theory test before you can take the practical test, this must be taken on a motorcycle of a least 35kw (46.6bhp).

 

 

Accelerated Access

 

If you have already obtained a full standard Category A licence and you reach the age of 21 before the two year qualifying period is complete a third option is available. You may opt to take a further test on a motorcycle of at least 35kw (46.6.bhp) to gain immediate access to all motorcycles. You must display 'L' plates whilst training on the larger motorcycle.  You do not need to complete CBT again, or pass another theory test.

 

 

Courses Available

 

4 Day Course

You must already hold a valid CBT and be confident, fully experienced rider in order to take a 4 day course.  If having taken your test, you should fail, all further tuition is *FREE* This will consist of 2 days for Module 1 and 2 days for Module 2.

 

5 Day Course

You must have a valid CBT and have at least 9 months experience of riding a manual experience.  If having taken your test, you should fail, all further tuition is *FREE* This will consist of 3 days for Module 1 and 2 days for Module 2

 

6 Day Course

If you have no CBT or very limited experience of riding a 6 Day course will be necessary.  If you should fail, all further tuition is *FREE*  This will consist of 4 days for Module 1 and 2 days for Module 2

 

If you do not reach the required standard for test all additional days training are £150 per day.
