As required by Government legislation you must successfully attain CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) before you are allowed to ride a motorcycle up to 125cc on the road as learner.  If you fail your first attempt all further tuition is *FREE* until you reach the required standard, there will be a charge of £60 for bike hire and insurance.

When you have successfully completed your CBT you will be issued with a DL196 Certificate of Completion which will be valid for 2 years.  You should keep this certificate with your licence as this is proof and validates your licence to ride on the road with 'L' plates displayed.
